I received this message from our office in Japan:

We have conducted a local dry run within Japan 2 VC sites and call-ins today.  Unfortunately, feedback/echo were enormously heavy and unbelievably persistent at both call-in participants and also VC site participants’ sides.

We dropped InterCall bridge from the VC system, but feedback stayed, therefore, we dropped VC bridge too.   We connected 2 sites locally and then, there was no feedback at all.   We will conduct another dry run tomorrow, see the attached confirmation note.  Please let us know how to solve this feedback problems by 2pm, Japan time tomorrow.  Japan GIS staff confirmed that “echo canceller is “ON”, but they are not able to fix it.

Another, on the confirmation note, instruction for call-in bridge is different between “1-5 pax” and “over 5 pax.”  What happens if more than 5 pax directly calls in to 1-847-935-0318?  Is it your phone line capacity issue?  Please advise.

Will wait for your solution on feedback problems.

There is not enough details here to diagnose, but it looks like the problem is when the mulitpoint bridge is in the call.  Would recommend the owner of the bridge call their support partner for assistance.

Sounds like they plugged the speakers into the VCR audio ports....
