Auido out on HDMI monitor Group 500


I wanted to know whether audio out is available only on one of the two HDMI monitor ports??.

I tried to connect a tv as well as a projector to view same same conference from montitor 1 and 2 but audio is not coming on other one.

Please help thanks

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

As previously reminded, when contacted via Private Message, you need to provide us, volunteers, with more details than this.


One of these private messages included details like only audio is working but no video so at some point, this was working.


  • What has now changed?
  • Are you using the originally supplied HDMI cable that comes with a GroupSeries?
  • Is this a brand new unit?
  • What software version are you running?
  • What can you see via the web interface under Admin Settings > Audio /Video / Content / Audio > Audio output?
    Do you see the right and left audio meter activity? 

Please be aware that the Poly community is not a replacement for our official support structure and if you require support the best and most efficient way is to work with a Poly reseller.


In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here
