Please confirm the below points.

1.. Is the only way to factory reset the unit it should be done by someone physically or using GUI it is possible?

2.. How can we take backup of full configuration (including local phonebook) and how can we restore it ? Does it also need a physical presenece?

#1, see the GS Admin guide.  The factory restore is via hardware using the reset button.

#2, There is currently no utility to back up 100% of the configuration.  Please refer to the Admin Guide and see Profiles for information on what can be backed up.  See "Manage System Profiles with the Web Interface"
