I have Polycom RP Group 300, to show/project content over Polycom we use software called PEOPLE+CONTENT Version 1.2.3.493 on our PC/Desktop system (4 GB, Xeon, Windows 8.1).

Below is the connectivity diagram named IMAGE.jpg.

We Connect PC/Desktop through LAN Connection via 100 Mbps.

Issue :

When we enable both Video + Content the content appears blurry at receipient side and unable to read the content (due to bad quality of content)by far side however Video Quality is fine.

We have checked bandwidh quality and it’s fine.

Questions :

Q1- Can we connect PC/Desktop directly through HDMI to TV ?

Q2 -What can we do more to troubleshoot the issue?

Q3 -Is the physical connectivity of the Polycom done correctly?

please consult the Image.jpg for that.

Hi @seema_kanwal,

Q1: Yes you can, but if you connect PC via HDMI to screen directly, you obviously can´t present content in a call.

Q2: I would suggest to try and test the newest version 1.4.1 or even better try Polycom Content App.

Q3: Seems to be right. Unfortunately you have an old GS300 without physical content input (HDMI/VGA) to connect a PC. Therefore you will have to use Content Apps to send Content in an active call.

Desktop is connecting with 100 Mbps switch and same Polycom

Can 1G connectivity resolve the issue.
