Does anyone know if it is possible to bypass the IR circuit in the EagleEye camera?  I could use the camera in another room, but have no way of controlling the HDX without it.

The HDX can be controlled by other devices such as a the Polycom Touch Control panel which uses the LAN for connectivity. This panel provides limited control, meaning admin controls are not available to the general used and must be accessed from the WebUI.

There are also other control panels that are highly customizable such as those made by Crestron and AMX.
