Has anyone found a way of capturing CDRs automatically before entries are lost short of manually capturing every dy & duplicating if quiet or still loosing entiries if busy?

Pete,  there is an archive for the CDR.  If you download the  Support Information package from >Diagnostics>  Download logs, then un zip the .tgz file you will find a cdr.tgz which can be unzipped to a cdr.tar which can then be unzipped to a localcdr.csv file and aslo a localcdr_archive.csv.
