Hi All,

We are facing one issue with few CMA Desktop users. They are able to login to CMA Desktop using their domain ID but not able to dial any online peers or VMR/Bridge numbers. Although their gatekeeper status shows Registered. The error we get is “The Site you called could not be located. Check the calling information and try again”. Same user id works perfectly fine on other laptops. Operating system we are using in here is windows 7 and Windows 8 and we are using DMA as our gatekeeper.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sandeep

Hello SandeepDas,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The CMAD client is not supported with Windows 8 so any results on a Windows 8 machine must be disregarded.

If the issue also occurs on Windows 7 a local Firewall, Network Firewall or other restrictions / changes between the individual users PC's causes the limitation.

Are these users behind a VBP or different network segments?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

I have resolved the issue. For some reasons my user account (along with my IP) got marked as quarantined on DMA. I have to manually remove it and after that it started working.

How did you find the quarantined ID in the DMA and how did you remove it?  I'm in the DMA and don't see any quarantine area.  And what exactly did you remove?  The ID from the DMA or the IP of your workstation with the software loaded on it?  Any details will help.  I have a client with the same problem right now.
