I am trying to get a Microsoft lifecam 720p to work on a Windows 7 64bit VMWare View client. I can get it to work using the lifecam software, but when I bring up CMA Desktop there isn't a video feed.

When I go into preferences on CMA Desktop the camera shows up in the settings and when I go to the audio settings I can run a test and the camera light comes on and it passes the tests.

I am using WYSE P25 clients to connect.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rod

Hello Rod,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am not aware that we support any kind of virtual machine to utilize the CMAD client.

Please check the relevant release notes for any restrictions.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know if there will be support in the near future?

I have 40 users with thin clients that we are trying to install this on.

Hello all,

there is a difference demonstrating something in a lab or running in a production environment.

As this is the official Polycom community I can only advise you to check the release notes as you would not want to roll out a product for a customer only to find out you are not supported.

Best Regards
