Hello,

We recently installed several CX-5000's in our own offices and some of our partner companies offices and have been experiencing this issue on one of the devices. What happens is that the device operates fine and shows video on their end. When they join a conference using any meeting software, we are unable to see them even though it looks like everything is working fine on their end.

We've confirmed that this issue happens in both Office 365's Lync Basic 2013 and GoToMeeting. Lync will sometimes show them for a brief period and then randomly shut off the video stream. GoToMeeting doesn't seem to stream the video whatsoever. Like I said, we have several of these Polycom units and they seem to work fine, except for this location.

If you have any ideas for how to fix this, please let me know.

Thank you.

Nick B.

Hi,

Have the same problem with our all new Polycom CX5000 system and GotoMeeting

The CX5000 is not detected by GotoMeeting, even not by the system (the CX5000 doesn't appear in the Device Config Panel).

Any idea if there is a driver to install or something like that ?

Thx

The CX5000 is only supported for Live Meeting and Lync clients.  It is not supported for any application.

I know you say its not supported, however it previously worked and then a machine was reimaged and now it will not work.

Perhaps the new update broke it?
