Hello!

How to make sure, if the unit is CX5000 HD 720p model based on the serial number and product id?

Thank You.

Hello Jaak,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

There are two versions of the CX5000: HD and SD.

Specific markings on the label allow the user to determine which model they have.

The product label is located on the bottom of the base of the unit itself.

First, if the unit is an HD model, then the letters “HD” will be found on the left side of the sticker.

In addition, if the serial number starts with the number “2” this also identifies it as an HD system.

See the attached photo for reference, as it is the label from an HD unit.

If neither of the above are true, then the unit is that older SD model.
