Hello,

I'm trying to hide some of the menus and softkeys on our CX5500 but it's not seem to be working.

I would like to hide/disable the DND, Forward and Messages menu buttons and softkeys.

Maybe my XML is wrong? I have;

feature.forward.enable = 0

softkey.feature.forward = 0

feature.doNotDisturb.enable = 0

softkey.feature.doNotDisturb = 0

Could someone please give some advice? I'm very new at this.

Hello JN,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jul 11, 2014 Question: How can I disable the Do not Disturb / DND and/or Call forwarding options on the Phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above and the release notes show:

  • UCS 5.1.1 introduced new features and you can now either disable the DND and/or the call forwarding options.

The next CX5500 release will include this but I have no official ETA for this.

Hi Steffen,

Thank you for your reply.

How do I upgrade my CX5500 UC software to 5.1.1?

Or does that get upgraded also during the firmware upgrade process?

Thanks,

Hello JN,

as stated above the next Software upgrade 1.1.2 should include the UCS 5.2.0 Software.

I have no official ETA for this yet but it is just around the corner.
