Dear all community members,

I have Polycom CX7000 which is not yet connected to Lync Server.

Can I connect it with Skype for Business Server 2015 instead?

If it possible, where I can find the doc's how to do it?

If not yet possible, does anybody knows if Polycom intend (in near future) to publish new

sotware relese for CX7000 to connect with Skype for Business Server 2015?

Thanks&regards,

Rade

The CX7000 will only work with Exchange Server 2007/2010 and Lync Server 2010. There are no plans for additional Microsoft server support since the product is in its End of Sale period.

Please see the Polycom End of Sale / End of Life policy <here>

Toward the bottom is a link to check the status of individual products.

Hi

I have a CX7000 since 2013, do you mean that if Microsoft has changed Exchange Server version I will not be able to use my CX7000 any more with news versions of Exchange?

recently I am facing troubles to connect with Exchange Server

Thanks

Hello JAB,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The CX7000 is only compatible with what we state in the Admin Guide or in the Release Notes. You cannot install another OS on it.

But now we have exchange 2013 and skyper for business 2015. when i am trying to enter domain settings and Local settings it is giving error message as:

Unable to add the system to the specified domain.(1355)

Hello ,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's Video contains this post here:

  • Apr 05,2017 Question: What LYNC or Skype for Business Version is supported by the CX7000?

Answer: The latest available Software Version 1.2.0 supports LYNC 2010 and LYNC 2013. Skype for Business is not supported.

You could federate an LYNC 2013 server with your Skype for Business 2015 server to keep these old units running that way.

Hello @quddus1980,

We do not offer a solution which offers a wireless camera so I suggest you contact a Polycom reseller in your country to detail what kind of models we offer.
