I recently acquired a PANO and am trying to set the provisioning server details however the PANO continually fails to connect.

I have been trying to use the same Server/Username/Password as I have previously configured to manage our VVX and TRIO audio devices. With none of this working I feel like there is either something I am missing on configuration with the Polycom RealPresense Resource Manager or the PANO is asking for something different then what I am typing in.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pano SW:  1.2.1-204087

Yes, there's a lack of documentation on provisioning a Pano in RPRM.  I had to fuddle through it myself.

We did it by creating local accounts, one per Pano, on the RPRM server.  Then, in the provisioning page of the Pano, you put the fqdn or IP of the RPRM server, following by LOCAL for the domain and the username/password you entered into RPRM.

The first and last name on the local user account in RPRM will become the Pano's name.

Also, there are several settings that are unconfigurable on the Pano once it is registered into RPRM.  For example, you can't turn off Miracast or AirPlay individually once it is provisioned, and there's no way to do it in RPRM (on the latest release).  I confirmed with Polycom Support that you can't change certain settings on a Pano at all once it is connected to RPRM.  So far I haven't needed to individually customize these settings, but you'd think they could at least unlock those settings so that we can make that determination in the future ourselves.

Thank you for the reply, I will try this out and see how it goes.

Are you saying you would need to factory reset the PANO to modify any settings that cannot be configured by RPRM after it registers?
