Is it possible to connect an HD-SDI signal into the Polycom HDX8000 unit? Is there a converter of some kind that could feed HD-SDI into the Eagle Eye port?

To feed this into the HDX you would need to convert it to analog, YPbPr, and use the appropriate adapater cable on the HDX to feed it into the HDCI input.

Remember that the HDX IR input is from the camera only, so if this is the only camera it will need to have an IR receiver in it.

Also the only cameras supported are listed in the HDX release notes.  Others may work but Polycom supports on the ones they have tested and verified their use.

Thanks for this information.

Do you know of any adapters that could achieve this?
