Hello Experts,

 

We are facing packet loss and degrade video quality on around 5-10 Polycom HDX endpoints in UK and Hong Kong which are running 3.1.x. 

 

We are using Cisco TPS 8710 Software 3.1 ( 1.98) as video bridge and VCS x 7.3 as call control. 

 

On further testing, we found out that these endpoints exhibit packet loss on H323 and not on SIP.

 

We have already checked the network, LAN/WAN everything is good. Point to Point call is good between these units.

 

Is there any bug/known issue for this?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

  • Have you verified the HDX release notes that the Cisco Equipment being used is compatible / tested against the software versions you are running ?

  • Have you yet contacted Cisco Support as clearly Point to Point calls are not affected ?
