I have HDX7000 and HDX9000 codecs paired with EagleEye III cameras. I'm trying to extend the camera-to-codec connection through some walls via cat6 cables with digital breakout adapters.  It looks like the DB9 split connection works fine since I'm able to control the camera with the remote, but I'm not getting any video signal.

Is there a limitation to the digital breakout adapter where it only works with specific cameras or certain codecs?

Is there a workaround?

Thanks.

The Digital Breakout Adapter is for digital cameras and codecs.  The Digital cameras from Poly include the EE4 and the EE Acoustic.

The DBA also is supported with the EE Producer and the EE Director II.

The G7500 and the RP Group Series (3x0, 500 and 700) are the codecs which support digital inputs on the HDCI connector.

An easy way to know if it is digital or not, the digital cameras use the mini-HDCI connector.  Also the digital cables will have the Mini-HDCI connector on one end.
