I have

HDX8000

default software version (Factory): Release - 2.6.1-5159

hardware version: B

 

Question: It's possible to make a dwongrade to the version 2.5.0.5?? or alway must be superior to the factory version???

It remains the same. You don't want to downgrade a unit from the factory default version.

Hello, 

 

You can always downgrade a unit but you do not want to downgrade from 2.6. If you do some of the hardware inside of the HDX may not work and brick you system.

2.6 -> 3.0.1 -> 2.5 or the answer will be the same?

Also bare in mind, V2.6.x introduced free P&C, 4MBPS line rate & dual cameras/monitors.   If you go back to V2.5.x you'll need paid for license keys for these function.  Not to mention the bug fixes included in V2.6 & later versions.
