I have two HDX9000 units and when we first got them they worked fine with the cameras. We haven't used them since and that was a year or two ago. We are replacing or trying to replace an old polycom system with one of these. I turn it on and notice the camera did not move and the remote was unresponsive. I disconnected the camera and the system worked again. These cameras use to work before and now they do not. I tried a second camera from the other system no luck as a last resort We had a backup camera that was tilled boxed and no luck with that either. They kind want to move but don't when they are plugged in. I went ahead and did a software update on the HDX to the newest one to date but still no luck. IS there anyone that can help me with this issue thanks.

The cameras are MPTZ-6 models

Try to detect camera with Detect button from System->Admin Settings->Cameras menu

Only problem is when the camera is connected everything is frozen. You can't use the remote. When I disconnect the camera its OK and I can go look at everything but on when the camera is not connected

What about control over the web interface?

Did you find a fix to the problem, i have the same problem and would like to know how to fix it.

Nope sI still havent fixed the proble. Had some other projects and moved thsi to the side. It cant be that 5 cameras went bad. I also had a another tech at another job bring his camera over which works and didnt work.

Yea it still frozen. Once i disconnect the camera it starts to work again or restart with out cameras and works.
