Is it possible to fix the focus on an Eagle eye camera model MPTZ-8?.

I have it setup in a large auditorium at full zoom and every time the presenter moves the camera refocuses.

Ahh, that might be the reason, Unfortunatly, there is no way to hard set the Focus, but it seems on a large open area, the camera is focusing behind the speaker, mabey try to put more of the podium into the view? it might be trying to focus behind him. The camera needs to find a reference point to focus in on.

The eagle eye will have an easier time focusing with a lot of light in the room, How is the lighting in your room?

The Camera needs bright opaque objects to focus on,

For example, A guy dressed in a black shirt and pants in a dark room will give the camera a hard time while trying to focus.

Also, when the camera goes to sleep, it will turn around and occasionally lose focus, the camera turns around and will regain the focus after a few seconds, this is normal operation if the camera was originally facing a wall.

Thanks for your response,  lighting is very good, subject wearing bright colours, problem only occurs if the subject moves ie leans forward or backwards.  Subject is in a large auditorium standing at a lecturn and camera is fully zoomed in.
