Focusing EagleEye camera (Polycom QDX 6000)

Hi Everyone!

The problem with focusing EagleEye camera.

(The problem appeared last week. What happened is unknown to me, colleagues say that the worse after a videoconference)

At maximum zoom the camera objects look clear, not blurred. But at a distance things are blurry. At maximum distance, it is not visible almost anything.  It seems that have not configured the camera focus. But the focus or sharpness settings  in the web interface I have not found.

Is it possible somehow to set the camera?

Re: Focusing EagleEye camera (Polycom QDX 6000)

Sounds like possibly the auto focus motor has failed and the camera will need to be replaced.

You can try a couple of things, assuming you have already reset the system, shut it down from the power button, pulled the power cable, let it sit for at least a couple of minutes, put the power back in and power up from the power button.

Make sure there is nothing on the lens, like dust or marks or scratches on the lens.

Thanks for your answer.

Polycom regularly completely disconnected from the power supply.

I'll see about the lens.
