GS 500 web interface black screen

We currently have one GS 500 that shows the web login screen, but once you login it is only a black screen. Tried rebooting several times with no change. Able to access the front end fine. Any ideas? VS 6.1.5

Re: GS 500 web interface black screen

Hello @nater,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

  • How old is the unit and what would have led to it showing this black screen ?
  • Have you tried a different browser or have you rebooted the unit ?
  • Does it work other than the Web Interface?
  • Have you tried to factory restore it ?

If all fails please open a ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

If the unit is no longer within warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Re: GS 500 web interface black screen

The unit ended up failing. Replaced with a spare device and opening a ticket with our maintenance provider.
