Hi Folks,

I have a customer that has a Group 700 system that most likely will need to be Factory defaulted.  The unit doen't have web access and the client is wondering if there is a way to pull a system back up via serial with an API command.  We checked the Polycom API guide for the Group Series but no joy.  Any help that you can provide is much appreciated. There is not an API that I know of to pull the profile, not sure why you would want that when you have web access to it, just pull down the profile.

You do not elaborate on why they may need to do a factory restore, but be careful with applying the profile back if the factory restore is to fix an issue in the configuration you may be applying the cause of it after the factory restore.

Actually, you can use the "Exportprofile" command.   That will dump the whole profile to you, thru the Serial port.  Be ready, it's pretty big.    Find it on page 190 of the GS IRM v6.0
