Good night my friends from Polycom,

i have a problem in my environment and i would like to know if anyone can have seen it.

I have a group 700 with a muitipoint license and it works with Skype and Teams at the same time.
I have a group 500 that doesn't have a muitpoint license and the teams only work if I unregister skype.
do I need a multipoint license to be able to use both functions?
or group 500 does not support active multi-protocols?

Just as an FYI a Poly GroupSeries can never natively register to Microsoft Teams as this is not a supported scenario.

 

Only using a service like RealConnect will get a GroupSeries into a Teams or Skype for Business call.

 

I suggest you work with your Poly reseller who installed this solution.

Thanks for the information.

I already have the real conect, but I noticed that when skype is registered the teams don't work.
when I unregister the skype from the group the teams work.
I thought it might be a problem with the hardware or a license, because the group 700 works both skype and teams without any problem.
I brought the group 500 home and the problem remains, the teams only work if skype is not registered.

Again a GroupSeries will never natively register to Microsoft Teams as this is not a supported scenario.

 

The Only way to "get" into a Teams Meeting is by using a service like RealConnect or similar from another provider.

 

As we have no Idea how your "working" Group is set up we cannot advise how to archive the same with your nonworking unit.

 

Your Poly reseller is the expert to work with or simply copy & paste some screenshots of the settings so our volunteers can try and guess what is going on.

 

If this fails please work with Poly support but you may get charged if outside of warranty/service

Hi,
I have the RealConnect license and it works, but only when I remove the skype from group500.
I'm using a skype hybrid environment for bussines and Teams.
Group700 works without me changing anything.
The only difference is that the group 700 has a multipoint license and the 500 doesn't.
another observation is that the group 500 uses a license for skype for bussiness and I noticed that when trying to connect teams, it talks to my dns and then goes to my external skype IP in the SIP protocol. When I remove skype, it does the process going to the polycom ips correctly.
What equipment screens can I send to friends in the group to try to help?

I placed the 500 equipment outside my private network, placed it on the home network and I have the same problem, only the teams work when I remove skype.

another observation is that when I make the call to realconnect I can only type the numbers 1 and 4, the other numbers don't work.
when I unregister a skype, I can enter all the numbers.
