Can Microsoft Teams be supported on Polycom Group Series Devices (300,500 or 700 models) right now? If yes, since I have purchased ‘Group Series Microsoft Interop License’ which enable Enables Skype for Business, Lync 2013, and AV MCU interop on qualified RP Group series software. Once we would like to enable Microsoft Teams interop on qualified RP Group series software, I would like to ask that is there any configuration or apps installation needs to do with the Polycom Touch Control?

Miles

Hello @Miles,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
We usually document any compatibility in our release notes.
To my personal knowledge a native registration between a GroupSeries and Teams is neither supported or planned.
The GroupSeries can register to Skype for Business on premise or Skype for Business online only using a compatible software.

Hello @MVHelpdesk ,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
From the Video FAQ:
Aug 09, 2016 Question:Why can Polycom not discuss future software Versions within the Community?
Explanation:Polycom, as a US based company, cannot share any future release dates or new features due the requirement of a non disclosure agreement / NDA prior to this.Via the medium of a community forum we are unable to do this.
Even if there would be plans we cannot discuss these in public.

I agree with you, I'm ready to pitch all of our Polycom systems and start over with a vendor that will provide a roadmap.
Hello @99xracer ,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
As already outlined within this post we as a US Based company cannot discuss future versions or solutions within a public forum.
This is against US laws and a NDA / Non Disclosure Agreement needs to be in place. We cannot do this via a public community.
This aside I already replied that the GroupSeries in its current form will not connect directly into Teams.
I suggest you work with a Poly reseller as they can get you in touch with a Poly Sales Engineer and discuss Polycom solutions to implement existing Polycom Infrastructure into Teams and therefore ensuring your investment is protected.
Our Partner Microsoft has very strict restrictions what devices can connect natively into Teams so you may want to take this up with Microsoft.
