Hi All

I have a group 500 VC unit that connects via HDMI to an EPSON EB-1410Wi projector.  The projector is connected to a control panel that allows for control of the audio and video input and output.  I have tested the HDMI from another source (a laptop) and the audio is passing from the laptop to the projector and then to the speakers.

When I connect the Group 500 (connected via HDMI 1) the video will pass to the projector but there is no sound.

I can take this Group device to another room and connect it to a TV and the HDMI output works perfectly.

The projector states that the audio stream must be PCM. Can anyone advise if this is possible from a Group 500 device and if so how do I achieve this?

Regards

Bruce

Hello Bruce,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We support HDMI audio PCM stereo format with auto-rate adaption on both inputs and outputs.

I would suggest you gather some logs and then forward them via your Polycom reseller to Polycom support so we can investigate this.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
