I have a customer who had an HDX Touch Control and wants to know if the new Group 700 will work with that control or does he have to upgrade that as well?

If you are looking to get a Polycom Touch Control for the HDX to work with a Group 700 it can if you upgrade the PTC to 4.1.1.1. To do that you will need to first put 4.1.1.1 for the PTC on a USB flash drive formatted for FAT 32. Then you will need to unplug the power from the PTC. Plug in the USB flash drive plug the power back in and hold down the reset button on the bottom of the PTC. On the bottom of the PTC you will see a speaker and two small wholes below. The whole on the right is the reset button. You will hold it down until the other whole(witch is the LCD)blinks then let go of the reset. It will go through the reinstall process and put 4.1.1.1 of the USB onto the PTC back up drive. Once it is done going through the reset turn off the PTC, unplug the USB flash drive, and do another hard reset. This time the PTC will load 4.1.1.1 from the back up drive and will be ready to be used with a Group Series.
