hi,

I have three EE camera to connect to group 700. the first two EE4 cameras connected to the two HDCI ports and works fine.

I'm trying to connect EE3 with breakout cable to group 700 camera 4 input and controlling it through the serial port. I tried stright and null modem serial cable but still not able to control the camera. the serial port mode set to camera control.

attached the setup and connection.

anyone can advise what is the problem?

I think this was dealt with via a service ticket with Polycom

The proper configuration was an RS-232 straight through cable.  What seemed to fix it was to change the serial connection to somethng from Camera 4, and back again.
