23 GS Endpoints (310/500/700). Updated early sept I believe. Heavy usage started around Sept 20 (updwards of 25+ calls a day with 3-5 endpoints in each call - we have upwards of 40 HDX that have no issues).

All using RMX 1800 (6.4). DMA (9.x, whatever is newest). Early Oct started getting calls of dropped content. This is a teach enviroment, so generally one endpoint engages content and runs it a full hour.

We started with troubleshooting in-room wiring, reseating HDMI connections, etc. We use a ton of HDBT to extend the content source to the Polycom endpoint, to pump the TV1/TV2 outputs to displays, etc. This has not been a problem for all the years we have been doing this.

Saw the release notes for 6.1.7.1 on Oct 1 and EN89389 addresses what, appears to be, our issue. On 10/4/18 all GS units and associated touch panels were updated. From 10-5 through today (10/11) the reports have generally been good. The constant dropping of Content has subsided for most situations. However, we have a few instances where it is still happening. Seems random and not tied to any particular GS. Its way less frequent than it was before the udpate, but still a problem. Before the previous update, this wasn't really an issue.

Do we have any insight on what EN89389 is solving? Is it a potential issue still?

We have conferences where all the endpoints are HDX and this is a non-issue. It seems to be tied to GS units sending content.

Hello @scotteredu,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

EN-89389 dealt with a GroupSeries issue when using the internal bridge and accepting a 2nd call

I think for your issue you need to get this into support.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
