I would like to be able to schedule a nightly reboot on my endpoints.
Could this be added to the admin gui, or as an additional parameter to the API command "Reboot" ?
Hello Svedis,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
I am not aware of a built in functionality to do so and would not be sure why you would want to do this.
The API => here <= shows on page 173 the reboot command.

Hello Steffen,
Sometime we seem to have some network related issues, I dont know for sure, but they cause my endpoints to not beeing able to dial out, and/or the directory is missing.
I doubt this is a polycom related issue, but a system restart always help when this occurs.
I would just like to have the comfort of knowing that they all restarted in the morning hours just before start of business.
I can also see benefits with this like when the network guys do maintenence on sites, and have to change stuff around, I would then rather have a way to set a scheduled reboot, than having to get someone to walk up to the system/systems to restart them.
The API only holds the "now" parameter, would be great to have a "@" parameter, or similar.
Nothing wrong with a restart is there? :-)
Take a look at Ovg's advice >>> here <<<.
This seems being just you want.
