HI!

I do apologize if this is the wrong thread however this is the nearest result for my search...

I am wondering if a codec (e.g.: Group 500) that has the multipoint option can host a multipoint call using it's internal multipoint capability while using SIP? We have tried registering a Group 500 codec with multipoint to an Elastix server (for SIP). The first call went well however the subsequent calls did not connect.

Would this scenario merit the use of an MCU?

Thanks Polycom Community!

Hello Miki_PH,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Did you ever solve or follow up your other issues => here <= and => here <= ?

I have moved your post from the HDX post you replied to.

It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

Did you get any error messages ?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
