Hi, we've got back from an office a HDX4000 plus it's monitor, but we have an issue.

1st up were missing the cables, but we've grabbed an HDCI cable from a 8000.

We can get it to boot if we put a 3rd part monitor on the DVI out, but if we connect the Primary (HDX) monitor, it fires up and then powers down after about 30 seconds.

Now we suspect it's because the 4000 MUST have the monitor connected by the yellow cables to both ports, so a couple of questions.

1 Am I correct in assuming that the 4000 ONLY works with the 4000 unit and it must have the yellow cables.

2. If so where can I get these cables from, ideally in the UK (or a part number so we can search) as we can't find them anywhere.

Thanks for your help.

Stu,  The part number for the HDX monitor cable is 2457-24306-001

And yes that cable is required.  There is a lot going on between the monitor's processors and the HDX base unit which includes software, camera, video etc.....

I noticed this part number isn't orderable. What happens if the cable is lost and a customer needs to order a replacment?

Hi Stu.

Stick that part code into the search box here,

If you don't have access your friendly UK Reseller/Distributir can get info for you.
