Currently we are in the process of integrating our HDX 6000 with the IP 7000 in a new board room. Our issue is that we currently need about 80' of cabling to go from the HDX to the IP (the standard HDX mic cable) and the HDX mic cable maxes out at 50'. I was wondering if we can use the Conference Link2 cable (2200-24010-001 (100ft)) which continues up to 100'.

Hmm! I'd lean towards recommending Cat5e Foil Twisted Pair with shielded RJ45 connectors.  We have a reseller who got an SS-C16 to talk to an HDX Ceiling mic 43 METRES away with good quality Cat5e.
