Hello,

I have an HDX 7000. We have a 10mbps connection. There is no firewall. When I make a point to point video call the quality of the call is good. When I add a 3rd video call  the quality drops to very low.  If i plug my laptop into the same ethernet cable I can do a speed test that shows I have a 10mbps down / 6mbps up connection.

I have a second HDX 7000 that I plugged into the same connection and had the same problem.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

Joel

Hello Joel,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read 1st ! Welcome to the Polycom standalone video endpoints support Forums!"

In addition the Polycom Video FAQ contains this post here:

Feb 10,2015 Question: Hosting Multipoint Calls on Polycom® HDX® Series Systems?

Answer: For more details check => here <=

The above has an attached PDF file which in addition explains some multipoint call details.

Some simple information on what end points are dialing into your example and what speeds would be helpful.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
