We have an HDX 7000 HD hooked up to Comcast modem.  We can't share content (doesn't do anything) from the HDX 7000 with m100 clients.  An m100 client can share content, button works fine, but only the HDX 7000 can see it, not the other m100 clients.  Audio and video work fine.  I've looked through the forums and the user guides and can't find any type of resolution to this problem.  we're only doing three points including the HDX7000.

Our local Polycom support guy logs in remotely and shares content with other Polycom sites, so I dont know what to do.  Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks,

Phil

Can the HDX display content locally when not in a call?  If yes then the monitor is setup correctly

If not be sure the Display content is checked in the monitor section of admin tools. Also be sure that if you are using only one monitor that monitor 2 is off.

It may be a port issue. There may not be enough open for content.

TCP Ports: 6-port range, default starting port is 3230

(default range is 3230-3235)

UDP Ports: 51-port range, default starting port is 3230

(default range is 3230-3280)

One way to isolate the problem is to put the m100 laptops on the same network as the HDX.  If moving them in is not an option then the m100 software can be downloaded to local laptops and the free trial version used.  This is a full version that will live for 30 days.

Hi,

I am in the office this week, and we just had a meeting with someone who has the m100 software.  Hewas able to share content with the HDX7000 system.  However, we are not able to share content with him through a physical connection (either HDMI or analog input).

Any ideas?

Phil
