Greetings,

I am trying to set up authentication using LDAP or Active Directory configuration options. I have successfully configured non-windows devices before to use Directory server for system access.

Using the HDX device itself to access configuration options is not clear on how to notate the information requested.

For example, when it asks for base DN I might notate Domain Component:

DC=military unit,DC=Branch,DC=mil

The container I need to authenticate to example would be like this:

CN=Domain Admin,CN=Administrators,CN=Accounts,DC=military unit,DC=Branch,DC=mil (much longer)

This will not work because there is not enough space to notate full location.

If I tell it I want to authenticate to 'Domain Admin' this is ambiguous Because there are multiple common names within our domain.

What I need is an example of how the LDAP and/or active directory configuration options should be notated. An example for each field would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
