Hi,

 

I have a problem with a Polycom HDX 7000 :software: Release - 2.6.1.3-5205 . When is connected in a MCU for Codian the audio remote is not present. However, with an other Polycom HDX7000 with a software: 3.0.0.2-13047 runs perfctly.

I checked a lot of combinations options, i don't know what will be the error of this problem.

 

With a software: 3.0.0.2-13047 works, i thought upgrade the old software, but i don't sure if this will resolve it. I readed the release notes in this web: http://support.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/us/support/video/hdx_series/hdx7000.html, but, i don't found a possible solution for this bugs with MCU H.323.

 

If i upgrade the software i will need a new serial for activation the new software in the HDX?

There have been software corrections to coincide with Codian changes.  You have answered your own question with the comparison of the 3.0 to the 2.6.

Yes the upgrade will require an activation key which is available from the Polycom Resource Center section of our website.

Hi Ken, We want to update from 2.6.1.3_5205 to last version 3.0.3.1 . We have got a 3.0 upgrade key code, so our question is: can we update to last version with this key code? Thank you for your support.

yes the 3.0 keycode will work for all current versions in the 3.x family
