Hi All,

Quick design question. I'm currently spec'ing out a VTC system for a small site in the GCC. The facility has a medium sized conference room with a  capacity of 16 people and a 7Mbps leased line, permanenet staffing at this location is only 4 persosn, so videoconferences are unlikely to be more than 8-10 particiapnts at the site. We're running both HDX7000 and HDX8000 at another site in the region, which will be the primary partner in videoconferences.

I'm torn between the HDX6000 and HDX7000 for this new site, and was hoping for some opionions and input from everyone and anyone.

TIA

Regards,

S.

Hard to say but your reseller should be able to advise more, because a lot can affect it.

The biggest question will be if it is IP only, then the 7000 would be required.

Do you need now or in the future dual monitors?  If so the 6000 only supports a single display.

See the table here for a summary of all the HDX products, it may help in your decision.

Questions

- As far as I know the HDX 6000 - 7200 are EOL (End of Life)...which are the replacement for HDX 6000 and HDX 7200? Is it the Real Presence 310?

- Which realpresence is compatible with video conferences with HDX 6000-7200?

Please help so that I could buy the right equipment.

Regards

JJ
