HDX 7000 xml directory to HDX 6000

Hi All

Hoping I could get some advice. I have just configured a HDX 6000 within our organisation, the only one, all others are HDX 7000's.

We have many many internal units within the Favourites directory. this is where the issue is. When exporting the directory.xml to from the 7000 that has our complete list of sites, and importing to the 6000, the listing on the device is empty. when looking at the directory.xml once downloaded from the 6000, the sites are listed as multisiteuniqeID, no IP information exists etc, whereas when downloaded from the 7000, all relevant info is there.

Is it simply not compatible? or is there a solution?

thank you,

Chris

Re: HDX 7000 xml directory to HDX 6000

Hello ChrisP,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

In addition when utilizing the community search function with the keyword directory && export the following results are found => here <=

Best Regards

Re: HDX 7000 xml directory to HDX 6000

Hi Steffen

Thank you for the response and I apologise if I didn't follow the correct procedures. I've looked at the search results and can't find anything that is really relevant or answers my query.

The software version of the HDX 6000;

Software Version: Release - 3.0.4-20259

Can I safely update the HDX 6000 to polycom-hdx-release-3.1.5-5568?? If I do, are there any other things I need to be wary of?

Regards,

Chris
