I am trying to find a way to adjust the volume of the DTMF tones.

I have a Polycom HDX 8000 connected to a SoundStructure via CLINK.

The HDX has a POTS line as well.  When they take the phone off the hook and attempt to dial out the tones are very loud with everyting on the soundstructure set to 0db.

It seems like the UI volume would control this but lower this does nothing.  I found out by trial and error that the tones come across the video conference input,  not the PTSN, not the Program in, not the UI in.  The problem is if you turn down the conference volume so the tones are not so startling then the video confenference far end audio is also turned down.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mel

Hello MelD,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to post the currently used Software Version of all components used. In addition please verify the individual release notes if the software versions used are actually compatible / supported.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
