Hallo,

We have an HDX 8000. When we were doing our test call, our partners could get our video and voice but we could not get theirs.

Can anyone assist us?

Thanks

Francis

Need to know more.

SIP or H.323 call?

Registered to a gatekeeper?

Is the far-end on the other side of a firewall?

What endpoint is the far-end using?

Regards

Shane

Hallo,
It is an H.323 call. Not registered to a gatekeeper. The far end is not behind a firewall. Far end has a polycom solution as well.

Thanks

Hi Francis,

should be a firewall issue at your site. All needed ports opened and forwarded to your HDX?

Have a look in the FAQ here in the community, there is everything you need about all ports you need!

https://community.polycom.com/t5/Video-Endpoints/FAQ-Ports-in-a-firewall-that-need-to-be-open-in-ord...

Or you have a look into the GUI of the HDX under Firewall, there you will see all needed ports, except 1720 TCP for signaling.

Definitely sounds like a firewall issue, or an issue with NAT'ing.
