For some reason, our remote will not turn on the Polycom Video Monitor, but it will all me to manage and turn the hdx8000 PC.

I have to turn on the TV, manually using the front panel power button.

Any idea?

Thanks,

Unfortunatly, the HDX remote only works with the HDX, did your monitor come with a remote?

Does the monitor have a Sleep setting on it you can set for no signal? You can set the sleep on the polycom and change

the monitor to "No Signal" istead of "Black" in the Monitors Tab under the configuration. Once the polycom goes to sleep

It will stop sending a Signal to the monitor, The monitor if set up correctly should Sleep after a predermined set of time

when not recieving a signal. Once the polycom wakes , it should send a monitor signal and wake up the monitor from sleep mode.  If your monitor does not have sleep mode, you will have to turn it on manually.
