HDX 8000 and SfB 2015 - error Video was not accepted

Hello all,

 

We are using HDX 8000 with latest 3.1.11 SW version and SfB 2015 on-premises with front-end and edge servers. HDX is successfully registered on SfB and shows correct presence.

When I do a video call from SfB client Polycom HDX 8000 device I get an error "Video was not accepted" and just audio call is working.

Is this normal since HDX 8000 is rather older or something in configuration is wrong?

Hello @Acer-IT,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The latest current software for the HDX is 3.1.12 but the HDX is not compatible with Skype for Business and can only be used with Microsoft Lync 2013 or Microsoft Lync 2010.

 

The HDX does not support the requested Video Codec which Skype for Business 2015 requires.
