We usually do not discuss future releases within this community until any update is released.
The HDX and the Group Series are completely different hardware platforms so features are not ported automatically.
I can only recommend you to work with a Polycom reseller in order to contact a Polycom sales engineer as this way you can sign a non-disclosure agreement which would enable you to get roadmap updates.
I am not too sure about future development for the HDX but please follow the above.
