We can't share content on one of our HDX 6000 units.

Pressing the 'Content' button on the HDX remote tries to transmit content but results in the error message "This feature is not supported".
We have tried to change the "People" setting to "Content" on this unit, but it's greyed out, Using the following;

Set the PC input source to content instead of people
Go to 'Admin Settings', Select 'Cameras', Under Heading 'Camera 2' change 'Source' to 'Content'

Can anyone else provide some assistance,

This unit is running the latest firmware 3.1.7

Is the camera on input 1 recognized by the software, showing the type of camera?

Do you have the primary camera defined to camera 1 or 2?

HP Recommended

Camera 1 is recognized fine, Showing as "Polycom EagleEye III"

Primary Camera is Defined as "1"

If i click the 'Detech All Cameras:' option nothing changes (It detects the primary camera)

I've attached a screenshot of what we can see in the "Camera Settings" Page

You won't be able to change Camera 2 and you won't be able to send it as a content video source if "Maximum Resolution" is enabled under Admin Settings > IP Network > Call Preference.

See the Administrator's Guide for Polycom HDX Systems, Version 3.1.5, page 2-39:

Maximum Resolution

Polycom HDX 6000 series: Allows you to send and receive 1080p people video. When this setting is enabled, Camera 2 is automatically set to People. You can use People+Content IP to send content, but sending content will result in reduced People video quality.

Seems like that did the trick, Thanks so much.

It was very confusing trying to understand what we could and couldn't do with the 1080p license, and now it looks like this option on the HDX 6000 Codec was just a waste.

Thanks to all that asissted with this issue,

Regards,
