Hi All. I am having an issue with Polycom HDX 7000 HD - Release - 3.0.3.1-19040, which disconnects after exact 2 minutes. I am registering to a DMA gatekeeper.

I am seeing on the Logs disconnect:

I get the audio and video on for 2 minutes. Has anyone seen this issue.

Hello Hidayath,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I would suggest you test this against the latest HDX 3.0.6 or if within contract the latest 3.1.5 as both of them contain fixes and security enhancements.

 

In addition it would be useful if you could provide more details on the call scenario and if this is a new issue or if this has always been the case.

 

Does this only happen to outbound calls or also if the Endpoint is being called ?

Hi Steffen

This is the case when i ever i try to call from this unit to any public IP Polycom test site. Internally this is used to call to RMX 2000 through a DMA. There was link upgradation for this location and after that this issue is seen. The HDX is in a network and the DMA is in another network to which the HDX registers. There is a firewall in between, but the ports are open. I am also attaching the log from the system for your review. Meanwhile i will try a upgrade a s well.

Troubleshooting more i could find that Polycom HDX has a much longer time for tcp keepalive. So is there is any firewall or acceleator on the path it will drop the tcp packets which are idle (basically the h225 and h245). From some forum i learned about a cmd tcp kainterval. I tried that on my HDX an i am getting a error. Has someone seen this issue? Can someone advise.
