We have 3 PolyCom HDX7000 units which we primarily make H323 only calls and that works great.  Our Italy HQ uses SIP, and their address (this is an example only) is 3905@somedomain.com.

We cannot call them, but they can call us and it works fine.  I have no experience with SIP but in my reading it appears we would have to have a SIP server or gateway that our HDX systems would talk to to be able to resolve the SIP address, and we have no such server or device.

Is this correct, and can anyone guide me where I can get info on what we need to have to be able to make outgoing SIP calls from our HDX7000 units?

Thnaks for any info you can steer me with.
