Bit of an odd one.

UK based HDX8000 using ISDN to make phone calls.

Allow Voice over ISDN ON.

AES Encryption off.

UK British Telecom ISDN2e aLaw.

V3.0.3.1

 

Although all video and outgoing audio calls now work well, incoming audio calls have two distinct issues: 1. No outgoing audio (calling party hears nothing) 2. Call drops after 30 seconds Incoming audio is fine (until the call drops!)

Analysis of the logs has shown the following suspect messages: 2012-08-10 13:53:20 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: VoiceConn[9]: ERROR: Far side authentication timed Out after 30 seconds 2012-08-10 13:53:20 ERROR avc: pc[0]: VoiceConn[9]: conn message: password (IIS1) timeout 2012-08-10 13:53:20 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: VoiceConn[9]: hangup, cause code 21.

 

FYI they are not using the "pink" analogue line because other sites have tried it a said "the quality was shocking".  Perhaps that's another issue.

 

I've not heard of anything like this before & putting a Trend ISDN tester on all ISDN channels, phone calls in & out work OK & exceed the 30 sec drop out time.

Any thoughts community.
