Hi,

Our company has a Polycom VSX5000 with a unknown password. The videoconferencing admin is not we us now and we need to change some configuration in the equipment.

How we can reset the password and all configuration?

Thanks in advanced for your cooperation.

Luis

Hello,

The best option would be to use diagnostics\ reset system. You will be asked for the serial number of the VSX and option of delete address book and system settings. If you are not able to get into the reset system because of security mode then you will need to do a reset through the Boot UI.
