Hi,

We have few HDX6000 installed for point to point and point to multipoint (done by our RMX1500) conference.

All the site has single Monitor (Sony LCD TV) connected with the supplied HDMI cable. Now we want to add a second monitor to few sites for getting content.

Question: How should I connect the second TV/Monitor ?

Thanks in advance.

its not a big deal, just connect your display physically with codec port avilable for it and then enable it from codec side to get it active and select the part you want desplay over that moniter.

Hello Fazlay,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I recommend to always visit the relevant support page for the HDX600 => here <=

Both the Setup Guide => here <= on Page 1 or the admin guide => here <= on Page 3-2 show that only 1 Monitor is possible.

The supported format is either DVI or HDMI

Please work with your Polycom reseller in case you require additional support.

Hi Yash,
Thanks for your quick reply. Problem is the HDX6000 has only one HDMI port where the primary TV is already connected. So, I am not sure where should I connect the second TV for content showing.

Thanks.

HDX6000 supports only one monitor, if you want to dual-monitor - you must install HDX7000
