Hello,

on a windows 7 system the M100 automatically sets mic level to 28%.

If I set it to 100% (while program running) its ok. Then i start the conference and it changes after 1-2 seconds to 28%

If i set it to 100% close and restart the Telepresence application, the recording mic volume goes again to 28%.

System:
Microsoft Windows 7 64 Bit
Polycom Telepresence M100 1.0.6

Does anybody have any idea what to do?

Thank you for your help.

Hello cdrechsler,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

To my knowledge this is working as designed.

using m100, we set the microphone volume to 28% for two reasons:

  • Most microphone recording sound has a comfortable volume with this configuration.
  • The AEC feature works better on this microphone volume.

But at a mac this works fine.

28% works not for me. How can i fix this on 100%?

Thanks for your quick response.

Hello cdrechsler,

I can then only advice to install the latest m100 1.0.7 which was released today and then if the issue occurs again raise a case via your Polycom reseller.

I'm having the exact same issue using version 1.0.7.48477_6452.  I can't understand how this can be working as designed since the outgoing audio is so low I can't be heard!?

Hi everyone,

I'm having the same issue here. Any luck on fixing the problem? The volume here goes down to 14-20% and the other side can barely hear us.
